BOTRYTIS VIOGNIER 2018 PIERRE'S WINES
A delicious late harvest Viognier made from grapes grown in the Hilltops region of NSW. Normally these grapes would be harvested in March for table wine. However, by leaving the grapes hanging until July we are able to obtain juice which is incredibly rich in sugars, acids and flavours. Rich flavours of mandarin marmalade from the Botrytis affected grapes combines with a strong apricot and peach character to produce an intense and satisfying dessert wine.
