CORONCINO IL BACCO VERDICCHIO 2018
This is a full-bodied white wine; Italy’s answer to a Californian Chardonnay with a twist. Citrus and plum favours give way to a strong after taste of Oak. Some have called it the white wine for red wine drinkers.

Lucio Canestrari specialises in one grape variety; Verdicchio. He grows them true to principals that govern organic and biodynamic vineyards. He uses only native yeasts, spontaneous fermentation, and extremely minimal sulphites at bottling. The grapes are hand harvested and no machinery is used in the vineyard. The grapes are hand sorted to assure that only the highest quality ones are used before being pressed. Wild yeast is used to ferment the wine. After fermentation, the wine remains on yeast in tanks until the following spring before the solids are removed and the wine is bottled.
Matches well with a wide range of foods. Great with Pasta or Ravioli. Pairs well with Chargrilled Octopus or squid.
