Matured in American and French oak barrels our 2017 Shiraz is packed with the full body and flavours of a typical Hunter Shiraz but is smooth and fruity and delightful to drink right now. Cellar for 5 - 15 years to intensify the flavours of stone fruit and blackberries. Enjoy in front of an open fire on a cold winter night or serve slightly chilled in warmer months. Pairs with Creamy Pasta Dishes, Red Meat and Poultry.

Handcrafted by Domain de Binet and Ballabourneen winemaker, Dan Binet and made from grapes grown at Block Eight Hunter Valley. This delicious and unique single vineyard wine has been matured in French oak barrels. Featuring the boldness you’d expect of a Hunter Shiraz, with textures of wild forest fruits and silky savoury tannins – it has a finish lifted by sour blackberries. Beautifully complimenting this is a soft underlying note of earthiness from the Reishi mushrooms imparted into the wine during barrel fermentation which immediately fills you with warmth and a sense of wellbeing.
Reishi Mushrooms have been used for many centuries in Chinese traditional medicine. They believe the mushrooms help enhance the immune system, reduce stress, and improve sleep. They also take reishi mushroom to try and treat health conditions such as high blood pressure and cholesterol.
