VINEYARD

Located in the Sweetwater area of the Hunter Valley, Bracken Ridge Vineyard has lean soils of orangey-brown clay loam, littered with small ironstone pebbles. With an average of 2 tonnes per vintage, Bracken Ridge produces small batch boutique wines from their highly regarded single vineyard blocks.

FOOD PAIRING

From steak and poultry to curries and oven-bakes, this wine is suitable for a range of easy going to full flavoured dishes.

WINEMAKING

Fermented in traditional open-top tanks and punched down by hand, this wine was matured in French Oak barrels for 12 months prior to bottling.

Bracken Ridge is a limited stock label after turning to a premium fruit focus in 2016. The highly sought-after fruit of this small vineyard is now used to produce the top bottle of a respected Hunter Valley name, and Chris and Judith now tend the vines with years of experience and care.
