GOLD AWARD WINNING Cabernet Sauvignon from the Orange Region, New South Wales. Rich in colour and boasting notes of liquorice and plum; beautiful blackberry and dark fruit flavours linger, complemented by a tight grain structure, balanced with great oak spice & dusty tannins for an enduring length.
Certified organic (in conversion), the 20 year old vineyard sits at 700m producing full-flavoured, cool climate grapes.
The wine drinks superbly now but will reward medium term cellaring.

VINEYARD
The certified organic (in conversion) grapes were sourced from a 20 year old vineyard which is at an altitude of 700m.
FOOD PAIRING
Great accompaniment to casseroles, beef and hearty pasta dishes.
WINEMAKING
The grapes were picked at optimum ripeness and open fermented before being basket pressed into a mix of French and American hogshead barrels.
CELLARING
The wine is drinking superbly now but will reward medium term cellaring.
